I’m very excited to announce that CAPTIVATING! has asked me to manage their social media campaign to find cover models with disabilities for our March issue!
I’ve been reading and researching a lot about social media lately. In the church, we tend to focus a lot of our social media efforts on Facebook. This makes sense because most of my parishioners are active on Facebook. I know people who are over 80 years old who use Facebook as a way to stay connected to friends and family.
Facebook is a great tool, but it’s important to realize that the younger generation tends to be more active on other social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat.
I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned in the last few months about social media to this global campaign. Our search has already gotten a great response from people all over the world with all types of disabilities. I’m learning about…
